The time capsule will be buried on Thursday, August 13, 2026, during the Baytown Sun Senior Expo at the Baytown Community Center. The Senior Expo will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., with the official time capsule ceremony scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The project will preserve a snapshot of life in the Greater Baytown area for future generations. The capsule is expected to remain sealed for 50 years, allowing the people who open it decades from now to discover items, stories and memories representing Baytown in 2026. As a fourth-generation Baytown business serving the community since 1926, Robson’s Jewelers understands the importance of preserving local history. Our family has witnessed generations of Baytown families celebrate engagements, weddings, anniversaries, achievements and other important milestones.
